Day6 is a South Korean pop rock band under the label JYP Entertainment. The group debuted on September 7, 2015, with the EP The Day, which peaked at No.2 on Billboard’s World Album Chart a week following its release. The band consists of four members: Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon.
Check out their recent album, Band Aid, released on September 2, 2024. Produced by frequent collaborator Hong Ji-sang, the EP was co-written by all band members.

Park Sung-jin, known mononymously as Sungjin, is a South Korean musician, singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He is best known as the leader, guitarist and vocalist of South Korean pop rock band Day6.
Stage Name: Young K (영케이)
English Name: Brian Kang
Birth Name: Kang Young Hyun (강영현)
Position: Main Rapper, Main Vocalist, Bassist
Birthday: December 19th, 1993
Kang Young-hyun, known professionally as Young K, is a South Korean musician, singer, songwriter, and rapper. He is best known as the bassist and vocalist of South Korean pop rock band Day6.

Birthday: April 28th, 1994
Kim Won-pil, known mononymously as Wonpil, is a South Korean singer, pianist, keyboardist, and synthesizer. He is the keyboardist of pop rock band Day6 and its sub unit Even of Day under JYP Entertainment. His debut album Pilmography debuted at number one on the Gaon Album Chart in February 2022.

Yoon Do-woon, known mononymously as Dowoon, is a South Korean musician, singer, songwriter, and drummer. He is best known as the drummer and vocalist of South Korean pop rock band Day6.


DAY6 Group History
Day6 (Korean: 데이식스; RR: De-i-sik-seu; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean pop rock band under the label JYP Entertainment. The group debuted on September 7, 2015, with the EP The Day, which peaked at No.2 on Billboard’s World Album Chart a week following its release. The band consists of four members: Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon. Originally a six-member band, Junhyeok departed on February 27, 2016, and Jae departed on December 31, 2021. All of the Day6 members are heavily involved in writing, composing, and producing the band’s music.

Former Members
Junhyeok (on the left) and Jae (on the right) used to be members of DAY6. Junhyeok left early in their career. He left the band Day6 on February 27, 2016, due to “personal reasons” and terminated his contract with JYP Entertainment. Jae Park, also known as eaJ, left the K-pop band Day6 on December 31, 2021 to pursue a solo music career.
